Sanoh UK Manufacturing Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sanoh”) is committed to protect personal information and privacy by setting the following privacy policy.
 

Reasons/purposes for processing information

Sanoh UK Manufacturing Limited processes personal information to enable us to provide manufacturing services, promote our goods and services, maintain our accounts and records and to support and manage our staff and business operation. 

Information may be provided directly by yourself through contact with our staff, subscribing to our services, applying for advertised job roles, uploading information or contacting us directly via the website, e-mail, telephone etc. Information may also be provided on others in relation to working relationships, reference contacts etc.

We may also collect data with regard to any visits to our websites tracking navigation as well as potentially technical information such as IP address. Cookies and other similar technologies may be used to record information when visiting our website. By using our website, we assume you are happy for cookies or similar technology to be used. Access to data

All of your information may only be accessed and processed by authorised Sanoh employees involved in relevant business activity and processes. 

If Sanoh has to entrust the personal information retained by Sanoh to a business partner, Sanoh will select a reliable business partner, impose the obligation to take security control measures to prevent leakages of the personal information on the partner by concluding a contract with the partner and properly supervising the partner.

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Laws. If you would like a copy of the information held about you please write to GDPR@sanoh.co.uk.

Sanoh keeps the personal information retained by Sanoh accurate and updated and takes preventive measures against leakage, loss or damage, falsification or unauthorized access etc. of the personal information.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.


With whom the information may be shared with

We sometimes need to share the personal information we process with the individual them self and also with other organisations. Where this is necessary we are required to comply with all aspects of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which may include confirmation of identity.

Permission will be obtained from an individual in most circumstances prior to sharing the data, especially when sharing sensitive data.

Where necessary or required we share information with:

  • current, past and prospective employers
  • educators and examining bodies

  • credit reference agencies
  • suppliers and service providers
  • debt collection and tracing agencies

Data retention

Your personal information will be held in Rolls-Royce's Alert Service systems for an indefinite period to manage our relationship with you. We will carry out periodic data reviews of this information to ensure that it is up to date and accurate.


International transfer of personal data

We may transfer your personal data to a third party in countries outside the country in which the personal data were originally collected. This will only be done in accordance with the purposes set out above and in compliance with the GDPR. In particular, your personal data may be required to be transferred across to our parent company in Japan. However, data will only be passed on when required for reasonable business purposes and where the law permits.


Revision

Sanoh reserves the right to make changes to this policy. Any changes to this policy will be for the purpose of improving the protection of personal information.
